The annual function of Murlidhar Lohia Matrumandir School, Deccan Education Society, Tilak Road, was held on 11th December 2025. This year’s theme was “मी मराठी - उत्सव मराठीचा ,संगम साहित्यिकांचा.” Children performed acts based on the works of well-known Marathi poets and writers.  

The programme began with a book procession. Parents welcomed it by playing drums and tasha, while Dadasaheb Jagdale and Rohan Shendkar blew conch shells(शंख). Rajshree Thakkar, Milind Kamble, and principals of other schools welcomed the procession with flowers.  

The chief guest was popular theatre artist Yogesh Soman. Children’s author Rajiv Tambe was also present. Yogesh Soman shared that children should enjoy their childhood and develop hobbies in art. Rajiv Tambe entertained and guided everyone with a short story. The programme was hosted by Abhishek Khedkar and concluded happily under the guidance of H.M Mrs. Madhuri Barve.
