After the summer holidays, schools once again bustled with the happy chatter of children today. At the Murlidhar Lohia Matru Mandir school on Tilak Road, students were welcomed in a unique manner.

This year, the school had been transformed to reflect the traditional Gurukul system. The highlight of the day was the sight of the young students arriving dressed as ancient sages (Rishi-Munis). Teachers enthusiastically welcomed the students by playing dhol and tasha drums themselves.The school's headmistress, Mrs. Madhuri Barve, welcomed the students by performing the traditional aukshan ritual. Subsequently, the students entered the school premises. After paying their respects to the Agnihotra ritual organized at the school, they proceeded to their respective classrooms.

The entire concept of welcoming the students was initiated by the school's Headmistress, Mrs. Madhuri Barve. Under her guidance, the event was conducted successfully and with great enthusiasm. This unique initiative by the school created an atmosphere of joy and excitement among students, parents, and teachers alike.
