On the occasion of Space Exploration Day and National Moon Day, DES Pre-Primary Murlidhar Lohia Matrumandir hosted a captivating event on Saturday, 20th July 2024, designed to ignite the curiosity and imagination of young minds. The event was thoughtfully organized to commemorate humankind's achievements in space exploration and the historic Moon landing.

The classrooms were transformed into a mesmerizing space-themed setting, featuring creative displays that showcased the phases of the Moon, the journey of Chandrayaan, and the grandeur of the Solar System. These displays served as a visual treat for the young learners, bringing the mysteries of the cosmos closer to them.Senior KG students enthusiastically participated, dressing up as astronauts and embodying the spirit of space exploration. The teachers conducted interactive sessions, sharing fascinating information about the planets, the solar system, the Moon’s phases, and the Chandrayaan mission’s journey from Earth to the Moon.

This immersive event was brought to life by the collaborative efforts of teachers Ashwini Tipare, Ashwini Thigale, and Rati Kalbhor, whose meticulous decorations added vibrancy and depth to the classroom environment. The entire program was successfully conducted under the expert guidance of Headmistress Mrs. Madhuri Barve.
