Students conveyed a message of cleanliness by gifting hygiene kits to the Warkaris. 

 The *Palkhis* (processions) and lakhs of Warkaris, en route to Pandharpur for the *Ashadhi Wari*, arrived in Pune today amidst great enthusiasm. Marking this sacred occasion, and under the guidance of Mrs. Madhuri Barve (Headmistress of D.E.S. Murlidhar Lohia Matru Mandir School), students dressed as Warkaris visited the Vitthal Temple on Tilak Road. There, they performed a soulful *Aarti* of Lord Vitthal and Goddess Rakhumai and bowed reverently to seek blessings. 

 As part of the school's "Health is Wealth" initiative, students had lovingly collected useful items—such as cotton bags, cotton napkins, toothpaste, hair oil, and soap—to serve the Warkaris. They assembled these items into attractive kits and presented them as gifts to the Warkaris present. The Warkaris wholeheartedly appreciated this altruistic initiative undertaken by the students. 

 During the event, the Warkaris chanted the name of the Lord and performed beautiful *Abhangas* and *Bhajans*. The school's music teacher, also guided the students in performing *Abhangas* and devotional songs dedicated to Lord Vitthal. The entire atmosphere was imbued with devotion, resonating with the sounds of *Taal* and *Mridang* and the chanting of Lord Vitthal's name. Through this unique initiative, the students gained a beautiful experience of the spirit of service, cultural values, and the rich Warkari tradition.
